Implant removal
When a breast implant is removed, the breast tissue and surrounding skin can contract and settle as the space left by the implant reduces, resulting in temporary swelling and bruising and possible changes in breast volume, shape, firmness and skin laxity as the breast heals.

The Reco Bra® has been thoughtfully designed to meet the unique needs of women recovering from all types of breast surgery. Its seamless, wire-free design provides gentle, comfortable support during the critical healing period, while a range of carefully considered features help make recovery easier. These include exclusive Devan Bi-Ome® antimicrobial technology, which helps keep the bra fresher for longer, providing hygiene confidence when it needs to be worn day and night.

Support is built into the fabric itself, so there are no wires anywhere near your surgery site.
Wide, cushioned and easy to alter one-handed, even with limited movement.
Sits low and flexible on the torso, away from drain sites after mastectomy and reconstruction.
An antimicrobial finish, independently lab-tested against the wound bacteria that matter after surgery.

The Reco Bra® and Reco Brief® were developed by a lymphoedema practitioner with more than thirty years of hands-on clinical experience caring for women following breast surgery, bringing together clinical insight, patient needs and thoughtful garment designs to support women throughout recovery.
Nicole de Havilland has treated breast surgery patients for the NHS and privately, with practising privileges within the Ramsay Hospital Group and at The Princess Grace Hospital in London.
Reco Bra® took four years to design and launched in 2017. It is now chosen by patients, clinics and leading UK hospitals.
I swore by Reco Bra® after my mastectomy and reconstruction. Finally a longline bra, so it does not rub drains. Soft, comfy, fits every size, with a double front opening to allow for swelling. Washable and just fantastic!
“Designed at every level from material to shape, specifically for the post-surgery setting, the Reco Bra® ticks all of the boxes.”
“I continue to recommend this bra without hesitation to all of my breast surgery patients in the private sector and the NHS.”
“We have used these bras in our practice for some years and feedback from our patients is wonderful. They are soft, easy to put on and so comfortable. Far more superior than other post surgical bras. I recommend them to all of my patients.”

Recommended by both my oncology and plastics teams and honestly the best recommendation ever. 18 months since bilateral mastectomy and diep flap reconstruction I am still wearing these fabulous bras at night. So comfortable and easy to wear. Cannot recommend highly enough. Also excellent customer service.
Ordered for post explant surgery. 24 hr wear for three months. Week two and I should definitely have purchased more. It's supportive, let's skin breathe and soft in the wound area.
Recommended by surgeon post breast reduction surgery. Easy to wear, wash and very supportive.

All types of breast cancer surgery including mastectomy, lumpectomy and reconstruction, cosmetic and plastic breast surgery, lipofilling, breast implant removal, and cardiothoracic procedures.
Most surgeons recommend wearing a post-surgical bra 24 hours a day for around six weeks after surgery. Reco Bra® is designed for exactly that: it can be put on in theatre and worn comfortably day and night. Always follow the advice of your own surgeon or breast care nurse.
Measure under your bust and across the fullest part, then use the size finder. Six sizes cover bands from 26 to 52 inches and cups AA to G plus. If you are between sizes, or swollen, take the larger one.
